The magnitude 6.1 earthquake that struck Luzon on Friday afternoon has prompted evacuations across Metro Manila, as shown on photos and videos posted by YouScoopers on Twitter.
Students from University of Santo Tomas and University of the East in Manila trooped out their buildings, while employees in Makati City also evacuated their work places.

Those inside the Social Security System (SSS) main office in Quezon City also left the building and trooped to the parking lot during the earthquake.

PHIVOLCS said the epicenter was located in Lian, Batangas. The earthquake had a depth of 173 kilometers. —Jessica Bartolome/KBK, GMA News
