Four men suspected to be involved in dealing illegal drugs were killed during an encounter with police in Quezon City, a report on GMA’s “24 Oras Weekend” said.
According to the report, the four men were killed after they fired back at police authorities at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday.
“‘Yung na-receive po natin na initial na information, ‘yun nga — na may nagbabagsak o may nagbebenta dito. Tapos mga mga namataan na kalalakihan nga po na allegedly may mga armas,” Police Superintendent Robert Sales, Quezon City Police District Station 1 Commander, said in the report.
The police said they recovered four guns and three sachets of suspected methamphetamine or shabu from the scene. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/BM, GMA News
